How do I download my Notice of Assessment (NOA)?

Follow these steps to access and download your NOA from the ATO via myGov:

Using your mobile phone

Using your mobile phone

  1. Sign in to myGov: Go to my.gov.au and sign in.
  2. Go to ATO: From your myGov home screen, select Australian Taxation Office.
  3. Open Menu: Click the Menu icon (☰) in the top-left corner.
  4. Navigate to Income Tax: In the menu, click through the following:
    • Tax > Lodgements > Income tax
  5. View History: Select the History tab to see your past tax returns.
  6. Download NOA: Find the relevant financial year and click the link for the Notice of Assessment to download it. The document will save as a PDF.

Using your desktop or laptop computer

  1. Sign in to myGov: Go to my.gov.au and sign in.
  2. Go to ATO: From your myGov home screen, select Australian Taxation Office.
  3. Top Menu: Click the Tax option on the op menu.
  4. Navigate to Income Tax: In the menu, click through the following:
    • Tax > Lodgements > Income tax
  5. View History: Select the History tab to see your past tax returns.
  6. Download NOA: Find the relevant financial year and click the link for the Notice of Assessment to download it. The document will save as a PDF.
