Simon Smith brings 18 years of experience across financial services and sales, with a strong background in consumer lending and relationship management. Prior to joining Plenti, Simon spent more than 16 years at Latitude Financial Services, working across Consumer Lending and the Branch Network, followed by over three years at REA Group as a Relationship Manager and Specialist Sales Partner.
What attracted Simon to Plenti was the speed, service, and consistency the business delivers to brokers and their clients. He enjoys workshopping scenarios with brokers and helping them find solutions that turn customer goals into reality, backed by one of Australia’s leading fintech lenders.
Simon’s approach is built on responsiveness, trust, and genuine partnership. He believes in Plenti’s products, makes himself available to brokers, and focuses on fast, clear communication to help get deals across the line. For Simon, being a BDM is about supporting brokers with passion and reliability at every step.
Outside of work, Simon is a big AFL fan (team loyalty kept safely neutral), enjoys the art of a well-made cocktail, and isn’t shy about grabbing the mic for a karaoke classic.
