Clarifying expense apportioning on Personal Loan applications
For Personal Loan applications, household expenses can be apportioned in line with how they are actually shared. Where an applicant contributes less than half of the household expenses, Plenti may accept expense shares as low as 35%, provided partner income is verified.
What this means for you:
On applications, you’ll be asked how expenses are shared in the household:
A) Shared proportionately by income
B) Evenly shared (50/50)
C) Applicant’s share is X%
Responses of A or C may reflect expense shares below 50%. Subject to partner income documentation, Plenti may accept these down to 35%.
Important: Please confirm this information with your client before completing this section to ensure applications are processed smoothly.
